Description
The Accessibility Standard for Customer Service module of AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities, 2005) will be looked at in this course. The Customer Service portion identifies how to transact and provide top quality customer service to individuals with disabilities.
This course outlines a company’s requirements under the Act and what parameters must be in place to ensure the company is in compliance with the Act. The course also outlines responsibilities of all workplace parties, the use of assistive devices, and other assistive means in the workplace. Methods for ensuring individuals provide the best possible customer service will also be discussed by using specific approaches to accommodate all individuals and reduce/eliminate barriers to service.
